Residential +5 Program
Here's no-cost Homeowner's Protection you can live with: The +5 Homeowner's Electrical Protection Plan is available exclusively through Union Electrical Contractors!
It’s simple. Buy a new home wired by an area Union Electrical Contractor- whose electricians belong toI.B.E.W. Local No. 58 - and your wiring is automatically protected for an extra five years beyond the basic builders one-year warranty.
Local No. 58 is making certain that your new home is electrically-safe for five extra years through their innovative +5 Homeowners Electrical Protection Plan.
This program covers the original owner for work done by local I.B.E.W. electricians employed by Signatory Union Contractors on newly-built homes, in the unlikely event that electrical problems should develop during the five additional years following the builders one-year warranty. The+5 Plan is provided at absolutely no additional expense to the homeowner. There are no strings attached!
Local No. 58 of the I.B.E.W. has confidence in Union workmanship. Their qualified, professional electricians are well-trained and highly experienced in their trade. They are, simply put, the best in the business! If for any reason, problems should develop in the original wiring system during your first year of ownership, we correct the situation under terms of the builder’s contract. Then, for a full five more years, our +5 Program extends this same protection independently. You just contact the Local Union at (313) 963-2130 and describe the trouble you are experiencing. We will have a Union Electrical Contractor correct the difficulty and there will be no charge for the service call!
A qualified, competent I.B.E.W. Union Electrician earns his or her trade through a Trainee Program which encompasses at least two years of exhaustive classroom study, along with 4,000+ hours of on-the-job training for residential work.
